The snowroom balance animals are designed to help children develop their fundamental motor skills. The aim is to keep motor practice fun and allow the children to be innovative in their play with these. Adults can help children reach their full potential by practicing balance together with them.

The Stardust horse is meant for slightly older children from the age of 3-6. This horse is higher and more of a challenge to climb. When the child sits at the back of the horse lifting both feet of the ground it gives a good balance activity.

There are many ways to use the balance animals and apart from rocking and riding with them. They work well as a low stool one by one or to stack to towers. Observing children playing with them at preschools, their favorite games have been recorded. It is common to tip both shapes over time after time, climb them and jump from them. The smaller children enjoy to sit leaning against inside the duck’s curved back to get back support while reading and the older children feed the horse and pretend to take it for walks.
